4. AI processing

What happens when you use Shy Guru Companion

When you send a message to Shy Guru Companion, your message, the selected tool mode, relevant recent chat context and any approved memory needed for the response may be sent to our AI provider to generate a reply.

Current intended AI provider
OpenAI API, or another AI provider if changed before launch. This section should be updated if the provider changes.
What may be sent
Your message, selected support tool, recent conversation context, approved memory and basic technical information needed for the AI request.
What you should avoid sharing
Do not share passwords, payment card numbers, identity documents, private details about other people, or sensitive information that is not needed for support.

At the time this policy was drafted, OpenAI states that it does not train models on business customer data by default. This should be checked again before launch and updated if your AI provider or account settings change.

5. Memory

How Shy Guru memory works

Memory is meant to remember useful support patterns, not every detail of your life.

Examples of useful memory

Prefers short scripts. Finds phone calls difficult. Wants gentle but direct support. Tends to over-explain when anxious.

Your memory controls

You should be able to view memory items, edit them, delete them, turn memory off and clear all memory.

Sensitive details

Shy Guru should avoid storing unnecessary sensitive details as memory unless you clearly choose to save them.

6. Sharing data

We should not keep personal data longer than needed. Exact retention periods should be confirmed before launch.
