Safety and support limits

Shy Guru can support you, but it cannot replace urgent help

Shy Guru Companion is designed to help with social moments, overthinking, messages, calls and small practical steps. It is not a therapist, doctor, emergency service or crisis service.

No diagnosis

Shy Guru does not diagnose social anxiety, autism, ADHD, depression, trauma or any medical condition.

Use Shy Guru safely

When to pause and get outside help

If you might hurt yourself or someone else
Move near another person if you can, put distance between yourself and anything dangerous, and contact emergency or crisis support now.
If you are being threatened, abused or coerced
Avoid confrontation if it could make things less safe. Contact emergency services, a trusted person or a specialist support organisation.
If you need medical, legal or financial advice
Shy Guru can help you prepare wording, questions or notes, but important decisions should be checked with the right professional or official service.

Privacy reminder

Your support should stay under your control

Shy Guru should clearly explain what is stored, what is sent to the AI provider, and how users can delete chat history, saved scripts and memory.

Use Shy Guru for support, scripts and small steps
